Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist

We are looking for a board certified internal medicine specialist who likes critical patients and a fast pace to join the TVES team.  We have a great clientele and heavy caseload ready to support a new department. We are looking for a specialist who share our belief that exceptional patient care involves partnership and communication with clients and primary care veterinarians as well as providing evidence based, cost effective, compassionate and timely medical care. 

Ideal candidates will be diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM - SA) and have a valid Washington state veterinary license. Click here for more information. 

Veterinary Surgeon (Surgical Specialist)

We are looking for a board certified veterinary surgeon who likes critical patients and a fast pace to join the TVES team.  We have a great clientele and heavy caseload ready to support a new department. We are looking for a specialist who share our belief that exceptional patient care involves partnership and communication with clients and primary care veterinarians as well as providing evidence based, cost effective, compassionate and timely medical care.

Emergency Veterinarians

The TVES Emergency Veterinarians lead the ER team in providing exceptional patient care for dogs, cats, and small exotic pets, and contribute to our culture of employee engagement and ownership.  We are looking for veterinarians who share our belief that exceptional patient care involves partnership and communication with clients and primary care veterinarians as well as providing evidence based, cost effective, compassionate and timely medical and surgical care. 

Ideal candidates will have a valid Washington state veterinary license and have completed an internship or two years in emergency medicine. In addition, they will be able to perform common emergency surgeries or have a strong interest in these procedures. Finally, we are looking for veterinarians who believe that ER works best as a team and practice medicine collaboratively with other veterinarians, technicians, and the rest of the team.

Veterinary Technicians

Excellent emergency, critical, and specialty care requires top notch technical skill and a team approach.  We believe technicians are our greatest asset.  The TVES licensed veterinary technicians will work with our veterinarians and other team members to provide exceptional patient care for dogs, cats, and small exotic pets and to contribute to our culture of employee engagement and ownership.  Job duties include triage and pre-exam of incoming patients, performing treatments and administering medication, filling prescriptions, performing laboratory tests, anesthetizing and monitoring animals for surgical procedures, communicating with clients, and assisting with keeping the hospital clean and safe for patients.  

Ideal candidates will have a valid Washington state technician's license, a cooperative work style, enjoy the challenge of a busy shift, want to learn, and want to be part of building a great hospital and culture.

Veterinary Assistants

The TVES veterinary assistants will assist the veterinarians, licensed technicians, and other team members to provide exceptional patient care.  Veterinary assistants will work with the team to triage incoming patients, perform treatments as directed, walk animals and clean cages as needed, assist with phone calls, and working to keep the hospital and grounds safe and clean. 

Ideal candidates will have previous veterinary or animal handling experience, enjoy learning, enjoy being busy at work, and be a team player.

Client Care Representatives

The TVES client care representatives are an essential part of the team.  They work with the veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to provide exceptional care.  Exceptional care involves partnership and communication with clients and primary care veterinarians. As part of the team, client care representatives, answer administrative phone questions from clients and primary care veterinarians, help admit patients, keep administrative forms organized and complete, assist with insurance paperwork, collect payments and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the waiting and examination areas. 

Ideal candidates will have prior client care experience, enjoy helping people, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy learning.

Housekeeper/Janitor

The TVES Housekeeper will be critical to keeping our hospital odor and germ free and our grounds neat and tidy. The job will require regular sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying garbage as well as general outdoor cleaning of debris from our landscaping. 

Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and pride in their workplace environment.
